The Ferry Ride
“Autumn, I can’t believe you wanted to ride the ferry today!” Brook complained.
“Because we only have three days to spend here and I’ve never ridden a ferry before.”
“Well, did you notice the snow falling from the sky? It might be the reason we are the only passengers.”
“Brook, where are we going? The ferry should have stopped back there.” Autumn yelled.
“I don’t know! The captain told us to sit down and be quiet.”
“Now what? It’s snowing so hard I can barely see where I’m walking. I can’t believe he made us get off!” Brook said fearfully.
“What’s wrong, Autumn?”
“I slipped on the snow and I think I broke my leg.”
“Do you have your phone?”
“No, But I still have that silly whistle you gave me as a gag gift.”
“Thanks again for the whistle. It was loud enough to get us some help.” Autumn said smiling.
“Are you ready to ride the ferry again?”
“Very funny! I’m just glad the man is going to jail for stealing it.”

Nice one Jessie. Sorry the friend broke their leg, but good thing they the gag whistles and good thing the cops caught the guy stealing the ferry. That was a surprise at the end!
