Necessary Changes
I really miss coming here. We use to have so much fun swimming, eating and dancing,” Brianna said sadly.
“Yes, and now it looks bad and is not used the way it could be,” Gavin remarked.
“Why doesn’t the owner fix it up?” Brianna questioned. “It has so much potential.”
“Oh! The owner is going to make the necessary changes and it will become popular once again,” Gavin informed her.
“How do you know that?”
“Because it is sold and the new owner will make it a place where our community can enjoy the lake and facilities once again, but this time it will be an even better place to come have fun.”
“Who is it?” Brianna asked with a puzzled look.
“You, my dear, are looking at him!”
Brianna jumped up and down with excitement, grabbed him, and gave him a kiss he would never forget!

Yaay for Gavin! 🙂 I always find it sad when I see beautiful places with so much potential that lack maintenance.

Aww, so beautiful write up, ended with a lovely way. Though it is sad to have the places but lack in maintenance but for everything there is absolutely something that happens with its time.

Nice story, such a shame when places from childhood fall into disrepair, here’s hoping he makes a success of it.

Thank you! I think it is probably like a lot of things these days, they need some young blood to take over and get things moving again! I’m sure it will be a success .

Ooo-la-la! A kiss he will never forget and a new landowner, too!
I hope he really will do something meaningful with the land.
Nice one, Jessie.
