This week’s photo prompt is provided by Maria with the blog, Doodles and Scribbles. Thank you Maria!

FOOD

“Sam, I thought you and your dad went to the store yesterday.”

“We did, mom.”

“So, where is all the food?  The pantry is almost empty!

“I took it, mom.”

“You did?  What did you do with it, Sam?”

“I put it in my wagon and carried it over to Stanley’s house.”

“Mom, they do not have any food and I wanted to help them.  His mom lost her job and his dad is in the hospital.”

“Sam, I am so proud of you!”

  1. What a lovely thoughtful and caring boy – and his mom must take some credit for that. She is obviously a kind and caring person and her son is following in her footsteps. A heartwarming story, Jessie.
