Unfamiliar Room
I woke up in an unfamiliar room with a strange cast on my arm, my leg in severe pain, and I did not know where I was or how I got there.
My clothes were cut in pieces and my cell phone was still in the pants pocket. I called out, but no one answered, so I tried to walk to the door, but was in too much pain.
I called a friend, but she was out of town and could not help, so I called the police.
The police came , as well as a doctor. I was safe in a hospital.
I had stepped off a curb outside a nearby restaurant and broke my arm in several places. It was so badly damaged the doctor had to take a piece of my leg bone and attach it to my arm with screws.
I knew where the restaurant was and could recall walking to my car, and even remembered two other cars being parked there, however, I could not recall anything after that.

Poor guy! He got banged up and doesn’t know how it happened! That has to be frightening! Especially to wake up and not know where you are. Great story, Jessie!

Exciting take Jessie and your main character is lucky to have survived. Honestly, I think it’s a good thing she has no memory of these events. It’s the bodies way of saying, this was too much for me to handle at the time. Hope she heals well.

Thank you! Sometimes people will eventually remember the incident, and some never remember it. It’s amazing how the brain has a way of blocking things out.

Thank you! That’s always a possibility and he may never have the answer to that.

Oh that hurts! I’ve heard trauma can take memories away like that. Maybe that’s a good thing.
