SHE

“Hamlet, here she comes!”  Macbeth warned.

“Oh great!  Just when I thought she was going home.”

“She just likes to torture us,” Carrie remarked.

“With the hundred’s of books in this gigantic library, you would think we could escape from her, especially since we are in the return to shelf area,” Macbeth complained.

“What happens when she is here?”  Heidi asked.

“We get tossed around, pages bent, markings put on us, and stacks of other books placed on top of us and sometimes she puts us on the wrong shelf,” Hamlet said in disgust.

“She has no respect for books!”  Carrie screamed.

“I came close to being checked out by her last week,” Othello said nervously.

  1. Aw, the books don’t appreciate being written on or abused by a child. I would have to agree with them, but on the other hand, it’s how she’ll learn to love books when she’s older. Great take Jessie.

  2. Thank you, Mandi. It is important that children learn to love books…the earlier, the better, especially with electronic gadgets taking over a lot of the children’s time now days.
