Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie and Tale Weaver
REPAIRS
“Wickedson brought us more food and supplies,” Monica told Allison.
“That must mean he’s probably going on another trip to give us so much stuff,” Allison remarked.
“Good! We won’t have to put up with him for a while, hopefully! ” Monica said in disgust.
“Taylor, we need to repair these walls while Wickedson is away. I’ve already started in the kitchen, but there are floors that need repaired also and I think we can do them first,” Jim said.
“But, Wickedson stressed to you that the floors can wait for a while,” Jim reminded him.
“Well, he’s gone for about a month and I’m doing the floors first! Let’s start over on the other side of the house.”
“Where does this little hallway lead to?” Taylor inquired.”
“I don’t know, but it’s strange that it’s in a walk-in closet.”
They found a small door tucked behind a wall of bricks and had to pry it open.
While trying to get it opened, they heard screams on the other side of the door.
When they pushed the door open, they found Monica and Allison staring at them in disbelief!
They learned that Wickedson had kidnapped the girls and had them locked up for over two years.

Very interesting story, Jessie! I didn’t realize that Allison and Monica were prisoners.

Thank you. 😃 Wickedson kept them locked in that area of the house and gave them with extra supplies when he was away from the house for a period of time.

Good story. Really good twist. I can see this being expanded into a longer story. 🙂 Wickedson, very apropos name. 🙂

Thanks so much. I may turn it into a novella. I wanted to expand on it, but it would have been too long.

Yes! They are so fortunate the workers decided to work on that side of the house first. Thank you for commenting. 😊
