 Zowie’s Buttercup Memories

Zowie, I’m so sad today.  I love this place and there are so many wonderful memories here.

We walked these fields and our favorite place, of course, is right here in the middle of these beautiful yellow buttercups.

I know, they are your favorite color.  Yes, I realize I am smashing a lot of them down while lying here, but they will recover, unlike my broken heart!

Life will be very different without Jodie around.  Remember when she first saw us?  She was actually scared of us, being a city gal and all.  But, once she got to know us, we helped her adjust to the farm life and our days were filled with fun and laughter

Now, she will go off to college and won’t be around anymore.

What will happen now, Zowie?  You’ve been gone for a couple of years now, but we still talk.

I know, I actually do all the talking, just like I’ve always done.

What?  Another foster child is coming!

I’m excited!  Yes, Yes, I will share our favorite place with her.
