SUNDAY’S PHOTO FICTION…..January 31, 2016
The idea of Sunday Photo Fiction is to create a story / poem or something using around about 200 words with the photo as a guide. It doesn’t have to be centre stage in the story, I have seen some where the placement is so subtle, the writer states where it is.
THE SURPRISE
“Charlie, Simon, Lucas, and Henry come out from under the grass weed! I want everyone to get in formation. It is impossible to keep track of everyone now,” Mildred squawked.
“I saw a bunch of tasty bugs under the grass weed,” Simon said.
“Well, you can forget about them because mama Mildred is in charge of us now and we have to do what she says,” Charlie explained.
“Where are we going?”
“I think she said we are going to Treehouse Masters.”
“What for?”
“She has a surprise for us.”
“What is the surprise?”
“How would I know? If I knew, then it would not be a surprise!”
Mama Mildred said, “keep swimming toward Tree House Masters and no one is to stop for a snack of bugs on the way.”
“Henry, we might be stars,” Lucas said.”
“What makes you think so?”
“Don’t you get it?”
“No.”
“We are going to become Pond Stars!”
They arrived at Tree House Masters pond and found out the big surprise.
They would be featured in a National Geographic documentary on wild ducks.

Very cute. Would Ducks know what National Geographic was? Have the seen any of the documentaries? Just wondering. Good writing.
