MEMORIES

“Oh! Honey, look at that picture of the old pick-up truck,” Joanne cooed.

“It reminds me of our first date,” Johnathan said with a smile. “I was so proud of that old truck and how I was able to get it running.”

“Do you remember how uncomfortable and loud that truck was?” he asked.

“Yes! And you could not get it out of first gear!” she laughed.

“I know, but we made it to the drive-in movie and I made it to first base!” he remarked.

She giggled, and said, “yes, you sure did!”

  1. Old cars certainly hold many memories, expecially cars that stay with the same family for years. I suppose people simply don’t like parting with something that has shared their lives for so long. This was a lovely, romantic memory for the couple to share again,
