PEACEMAKER
“Baxter, here comes Fritz,” Morgan remarked.
“Hi! guys, what are you in town for today?”
“We came to check out your new invention,” Morgan replied.
Baxter asked, “Is that what’s in the box you have?”
“Yes, I’m on my way to show it to the manufacturer. I plan to get a patent for it, if they can mass produce it.”
Morgan yelled, “watch out Fritz! That guy on the bike is”……..
Whack! Fritz got knocked to the side and the box snatched from his hands.
Morgan said, “run guys, that man has the box!”
The chase was on! They followed the guy and turned into an alley. Then, another guy jumped out from behind a trash bin.
Morgan and Baxter were slinging fists left and right at the two guys.
Fritz grabbed the box, pulled out his Peacemaker, pointed it at the hoodlums and the sound from it was so loud it immobilized them for at least fifteen minutes.
The police came, the two hoodlums jailed, and Fritz took his Peacemaker, along with the police report describing the incident, to the manufacturer.

Great story!! I love the name, “Peacemaker.” At first I thought you were talking about a “pacemaker.” Haha! This is going to make him famous!

There’s nothing like an impromptu live demo to really sell a product 🙂

Good story. I’m sure glad his invention was noisy enough to embolize the thieves. I also picture a great James Bond chase scene lol

Thank you! It’s probably better than being tasered, and last longer. Ha! Ha! I should have named one James and the other one Bond. 🙂

Well, the hoodlums were asking for it. But thinking about story “Eau Chute!” that Steve Lakey wrote this week, Fritz needs to make sure he doesn’t sign a bad deal. 🙂

That’s true. It’s best to not let your invention out of your sight without something in writing and to really be on the safe side, you should probably get an attorney involved depending on the situation. I’m sure there have been a lot of people that have not received compensation for their work.

How dangerous a concept as a pacemaker could be! Ending hostility would cause all kinds of problems to be solved
