PIPPIN’S MIRACULOUS RECOVERY

SIX SENTENCE STORIES       10/22/2015  CLUE IS ENTRANCE

Pippin’s Miraculous Recovery

“Pippin, hand me the flashlight, ”  Monroe said.

“Here it is, but I think the battery is going dead and we will never find our way out of this cave if we can’t find the entrance to it,” Pippin grumbled.

“We need to squeeze through that narrow path over there because I see a tiny bit of light.”

“No, I can’t climb over all those rocks because my feet are too sore and I can barely walk, so you will need to carry me.”

Suddenly, they heard a lot of noise and turned around just in time to see huge eyes coming toward them.

“Bats!”  Pippin screamed, and ran right passed Monroe through the narrow path and out of the entrance to the cave.
