SIX SENTENCE STORIES September 20, 2015
This week’s cue is : AXES
CLOSE CALL
Crouching behind a large stack of hay in the barn loft prevented Owen and Connor from getting out of the barn before old man Walker walked in carrying a large box while talking to his friend Stark.
Walker was telling Stark that he is finished with kids in the area playing around in the barn and he would no longer be putting up with all of their shenanigans!
Owen and Connor had heard rumors of two kids disappearing and were never found and for some reason they felt compelled to see what was in the large box that Walker brought in the barn.
When the coast was clear, Owen and Connor quickly got down from the loft and hurried to see what was in the large box and to their amazement they saw a couple of axes with dried blood all over the blades.
It totally freaked them out and they ran out as fast as their legs and feet would carry them!
After Stark left, Walker went back in the barn to clean the axes he had used to cut off the heads of the chickens he killed for the upcoming Saturday picnic his church was having.

Hahaha, I love twist in the end that it was actually chicken blood. Either way, i’m pretty sure that’s the last Walter would see of Owen and Connor. ☺

Yes, and they will never forget that day, but it will give them something to laugh about when they get grown and are sitting around telling stories about their childhood. Thank you for reading and commenting.
