THE CHAIR

John said, “Larry is missing, do you know where he is Harry?”

Harry grinned and said, “come over here and sit down on this chair John.”

“Are you going to answer me?”

John walked over to the chair, sat down and suddenly it began to move back and forth, up and down, in circles, then tossed John straight up in the air causing him to fly across the room and land on the couch.

Harry smiled and quickly walked over to the other side of the room as he thought about how he had converted Larry into a chair.

Larry laughed and said, “Harry, you can convert me back to a boy now that you proved your new magical kit you spent all of your allowance on was worth it!”

  1. Wonderfully creative story you’ve done here! When we think about converting, it rarely comes to mind to convert someone to an object, and yet I recall fairytales that involved just that. I think I’d much rather be converted to a chair than to a frog or something worse! 🙂

  2. Whoa, that’s some magic kit. When I saw the chair, I thought you”d be writing about a plain old recliner( which around here we call the Nest). This was fun filled. I suppose John is now the couch?
