Use at least 10 of the words to create a story or poem (this is a tough one!)  The words can appear in an alternate form.  Use the words in any order that you like.

bastard, glimpse, rubble, trickle, bonfires, wallow, supplicant, tenacious, pique, bulge, circumspect, and liminal (relating to a traditional or initial state of a process, occuring a position, or both sides of, a boundary or threshold)

The facts begun to trickle in regarding last week’s fire.

The man  hurt is a keen and circumspect fireman, but he misjudged how quickly the bulge of rubble could turn into a huge bonfire.  Now, he is in critical condition and he hangs suspended in a liminal space between life and death.

I got a glimpse of the man responsible for the fire.  The bastard is actually a supplicant in the process of obtaining employment at the fire station.  However, he sits in jail now wallowing in his own self-pity.

      • Unfortunately it has been known to happen, potential or otherwise firefighters to set fires just to ‘go on a call’. No worries.
It is something all in the volunteer and compensated fire departments have to consider and live with.
