Sunday Photo Finish..July 19, 2015
The idea of Sunday Photo Fiction is to write a piece whether it is a story or poetry using the image as inspiration. You don’t have to use the photo exactly as it is, any way the inspiration takes you, use that. Try to keep it around the 200 word mark.
KING
The chair arrived today. It does look fit for a King! I’m sure he will approve of the colors.
His name is Mikado and it fits him well. Sometimes he is so demanding and difficult to understand. He is such a challenging person.
Last week he was fixated on his own interest and very resistant to any change. It’s hard to deal with him. He has a different agenda than we do because he is his own person and feels he doesn’t need to listen to anyone else.
He has his own ‘inner world’ of thoughts, plans, problems, worries, hopes and dreams that occupy his time and attention.
It’s not easy raising this little future ‘World Changer’….after all, he’s only four years old!

Love your interpretation of the throne. Now that I look at it through your words, it actually looks like a chair for a child 🙂

I wonder, if you lift the cushion, is there a potty seat? This could be a generational heirloom!

LOL! Cute story! When I saw the picture all I could think about was “potty chair” a “child’s potty chair” but I didn’t think people would want to read about a child being potty trained. Loved the way you took the challenge!

Thank you! I saw a potty chair as well and it reminded me of how children often times act like little Kings…with all of their needs and desires! 👑

Loved this take on the photograph. Toddler Kings – my husband and I watch one several hours a week.
I will not make any potty breath remarks – but I did laugh at some of the comments:P
