LOST

Emma pleaded with her mother to take her to the park.  Her mother agreed to take her again and cautioned her that she must always stay in her sight.

Emma ran to the pond as soon as they arrived at the park.  Minutes later she ran back to her mother. She had tears in her eyes and was visibly shaken.

She told her mother she saw all the little fish and they were happy.

Now they are very sad. Little Jeffie fish had left his school and gotten lost.  No one found him and his mommy was so upset she could not swim any more.  She stayed hidden among the pile of rocks and would no longer swim.

Emma and her mother left the park, Emma grabbed her mother’s hand, holding on tight.  She looked at her mother with her big blue eyes that glistened with tears.

She told her mother that she would never again get out of her sight when she was told not to.
