“Missing Parents”

Damon, DeeGee, Garnet and Marla had gone to the park.  They were enjoying a picnic as they watched the five little ducks waddle around. They had become good friends during the weeks that DeeGee’s parents were on vacation.

Damon and Garnet had not told DeeGee about the possibility of them being her brothers.  They had planned to tell her after her parents returned home from vacation.

They were just leaving the park when DeeGee received a call from her parents friend, Bob.  He told her the devastating news of her parents having gone missing.

They immediately set up a plan to help her find her parents.

Garnet realized the attraction Damon and DeeGee had for each other and he had cautioned Damon to not get too involved.  Nevertheless, Damon had insisted that he be the one to take  DeeGee to Bob’s house to find out more information about her missing parents.

A & J

Monday Finish the Story

Thank you Barbara Beacham for our photo prompt this week and for hosting Monday’s Finish the Story Challenge. Barbara gives us the first sentence to our story and approximately 150 more words with which to write our story

“A & J”

Arriving at the beach, she reflected on her life.  She remembered sitting on this rock for the first time with Alexander. They had named it their A & J Rock which represented their names, Alexander and Joanna.

She had known Alexander since childhood and they had always been as one.  He had come into her life and had become her world. They had spent many hours together enjoying the peacefulness and beauty of the beach.

He went to a war stricken country, far, far, away from her and he had never returned. He was missing in action.

She longed for his loving hands stretched out to catch her tears and hold her close. Her heart was full of so many things to say to him.

She wanted to share the beauty of her surroundings with him once again as she covered him with love, caresses, and ecstasy.
