Thank you Ady for our prompt photo this week
“Boat Ride”
DeeGee told Marla she would tell her parents about the two strangers when they returned from their vacation.
Austin and Rose, DeeGee’s parents, had agreed to take their friend’s niece and nephew to a small island near the mainland. He had gotten sick and was unable to take them so he hired someone who owned a boat to transport them back home.
The morning of the trip was gorgeous with the sun reflecting on the water causing it to look like crystal glass, and there were small rippling waves. The clouds looked like gigantic white marshmallows.
The following day, their friend, Bob had not heard from them, but had received an urgent message from the children’s parents telling him that the children had not returned home yet.
Bob immediately tried to contact the boat owner, only to find out that the owner was reported missing.

Another kidnapping! Say it isn’t so!
Let me make sure I have it right: DeeGee is possibly Damon and Garnet’s older sister. Austin and Rose are possibly their parents. Right?
Okay. Austin and Rose took their friend’s niece and nephew to a small island. But who got sick? I guessed it was the dad, Austin, who got sick and hired someone with a boat. Whoever that boat person was ended up kidnapping Austin, Rose, the niece, and the nephew. That was my interpretation. Is that what you meant?
I want to make sure I’m keeping up with the story.

Yes, DeeGee may be Damon and Garnet’s sister. Austin and Rose took their friend’s niece and nephew in the boat with them and the person that owns the boat that Bob (Austin and Rose’s friend) hired is also missing. All of them are together in the boat…..somewhere??? DeeGee does not know her parents are missing yet…they are still on vacation. Thank you for your thoughts on this and I hope I can continue to keep it interesting. There are more surprises coming….I just need to figure out how to work it all in. I have several things in mind and I will see how much of it I can use.
