This is my 104 word story for Alistair Forbes’ Sunday Photo Fiction Challenge. If you would like to participate in this challenge, check out this link: Sunday Photo Fiction
Alistair gives us a photo prompt and approximately 200 words to weave our stories with. It is lots of fun and addicting.
“Grasshoppers Eating Convention”
Oh! No! The time on this human’s contraption called a watch, tells me he did it again!
I knew it! Too many grasshoppers are late again. It’s crucial that we have our annual Grasshoppers Eating Convention today.
Hopper John Green has been in charge of the meetings for over three years and each year we must rush through our annual Grasshoppers Eating Convention. All because he fails to stress to all members to get here before the crops get dusted!
After we end our convention, most of the crops will be eaten, if we get to them in time.
We must eat to survive!

All creatures must eat too, so that is very true.
Good story!

Thank you! I saw the photo and wanted to see if I could come up with a story about them. I think everything is here for a purpose.

Oh good! Maybe all the crops will be dusted before the little bugars start munching. Bawhaha! 😀

Ha, Ha. I can understand the frustration. This is one of those cases when we ask ourselves…what is their purpose here on earth?

Yes! LOL! If it is for birds to eat then we need more birds to eat them.
